Let's Talk! 

Communication is the topic for the month! Leaders need to know how to be effective communicators. Communication is not just about talking or listening...It is about understanding what is being said.

The training for this month will get us started talking to each other...building relationships as well as providing insight into various communication styles and how those styles affect our ability to influence others.

Try This at Home! Remember...It all starts at Home!
  • Lean In to listen!
  • Make eye contact with the person you're listening to.
  • Practice being in the moment when listening. Practice empathetic listening.
  • Let your facial expressions and body language express your approval and support of the person speaking.
  • Concentrate on what is being said...Not on your reply or response.
  • Acknowledge the message that was heard.
